Have you ever thought of your users as potential advertisers? If you think about it, advertisers are constantly trying to find sites tailored to the audience that they are trying to reach. Now let’s assume an advertiser comes across your site and feels it would a good site to advertise on. You don’t want to lose this advertiser, right? That’s where Onsite Advertiser Sign-up comes in: Advertisers can create site-targeted campaigns directly from your site.Although the ‘Advertise on this site’ link will no longer appear on your ad units following last week’s
ad format change, you can still display a separate Onsite Advertiser Sign-up link on your site, such as within the sidebars or footers of your pages. This method offers you more flexibility as far as the placement, the font, and the color of the link, and can help you retain interested advertisers who visit your site.If you'd like to create such a link on your site, just follow the detailed instructions in our Help Center and then add your link into the HTML source of your pages. If you use CSS on your site, you can create a nice rollover and make your link even more visible to potential advertisers:
Once you've created a separate link, don't forget to
customize your Onsite Advertiser Sign-up page. Please keep in mind that it's currently only possible to customize one landing page per account. In other words, advertisers can target each of your sites individually, but they'll see the same landing page when they click an 'Advertise on this site' link from any of your sites. We encourage you to give this new method a try and to experiment with various placements. Having more interested advertisers bidding on your site means increased competition -- which in turn translates into higher revenue potential for you.A fresh, new look for AdSense ads
You may have noticed that some of your ad units have started to look a little different lately -- we’re happy to announce that, just in time for spring, we've given our standard ad units a fresh makeover. After extensive testing and research, we’ve found that the new formats are not only visually appealing to users, but they also perform even better for publishers and advertisers. We're in the process of rolling out this change to all ad units, and you should see that your ad units are automatically updated over the next few days. But, before you rush to make sure all of your ad units still match your site, please be assured that the fonts and colors of your ads won't be changed.Although it’s not possible to opt out of the new designs, we hope that you and your site visitors will find our new ad formats clearer and more attractive. We're always testing new ways to improve the look and feel of our advertisements, so stay tuned for more format options in the future.

Introducing Google Apps referrals

Following our recent series of referrals announcements, we're happy to announce that you can now earn $5 per referral for
Google Apps. With Google Apps, we've taken Google's most powerful communication and collaboration tools, and packaged them together so businesses, schools and other organizations can work more effectively while spending less time and money on IT systems. Google Apps provides customized email addresses (powered by Gmail), Google Calendar, Google Talk, Docs & Spreadsheets and Page Creator, all for free. Best of all, everything is hosted by Google, so there's no hardware or software to download, install or maintain. So how do these referrals work? Just visit the AdSense Setup tab in your AdSense account and click the link for Referrals. Select the Google Apps option and then choose how you want the referral ad to look on your site. (The Google Apps referral ads are available in English right now, but we'll be adding more languages soon.) Copy the code provided into the design of your web pages, and voila! You will be credited $5 when someone clicks the referral ad from your site and signs up for Google Apps with a domain that has not already been signed up for the service. That person's domain must then have one or more Google Apps email accounts in use for four consecutive weeks. It's that simple. If you're new to AdSense referrals, you might want to check out our referrals optimization tips.

The AdSense API: All grown up and ready to play

If you're a web developer or host, you may remember that we
introduced you to the AdSense API last May. With the AdSense API, your users can create their own AdSense accounts on your site, and display ads alongside the content that they have created. They can also manage their accounts and view ad performance and earnings reports, all on your site.In addition, you can enhance your customers' user experience by helping them to make money from their content and by giving them the ability to perform many AdSense functions without ever leaving your site. For example, they can:
Create and manage AdSense accounts
Customize and implement AdSense for content ad units and link units, AdSense for search boxes, and referrals for products such as Google AdWords and Firefox
Generate URL and custom channel reports
Best of all, you get to make money with the AdSense API through the
Revenue Sharing program. Advertisers pay your users and you when visitors click on your users' ads. Plus, you can earn Referral Payments when your users earn threshold amounts within their first 180 days after sign up.Today, we're pleased to announce that the AdSense API is now open for all developers, with the release of our open development sandbox. This is a replica of the live service with some additional support to help you test and debug your applications. Once you implement the AdSense API in the development sandbox, we can go live with your implementation. So now it's easier than ever to integrate AdSense into your website or online application. It took the folks over at Hubpages.com less than a week. We’ve expanded our developer’s guide and added more sample code to make seamless integration even easier. Were you ready to start developing yesterday? Check out our Getting Started Guide and our FAQ. You’ll also find that the AdSense API Developer Forum is a great place to discuss the API and get answers to common questions. To learn more about the AdSense API and how it can make your users happier while increasing your income, surf over to the AdSense API site.

Referrals, now with Google Checkout

Today we're excited to announce that in addition to AdSense, AdWords, Firefox with Google Toolbar, and Google Pack, you can now refer your users to
Google Checkout through AdSense.Checkout gives your users a faster, safer, and more convenient way to shop online. OK, that sounds great for them, but what do you get out of it? Well, every time you refer a user to Google Checkout, you make a little money. It's a simple process that includes all of three steps:
You place the Checkout referral button on your site.
Someone clicks on the button, signs up as a buyer with Google Checkout using a valid U.S. credit card, and completes a purchase of at least $10 before shipping and tax through Checkout within 90 days. (The current $10 minimum purchase corresponds to our existing $10 promotion for new buyers, so this amount may change in the future.)
You earn $1.
It's that simple. Please note that Checkout referrals are currently only available for U.S. publishers, and Google Checkout is currently only available for buyers with a U.S. credit card. We hope to make both Checkout and Checkout Referrals available in more countries soon.If you're not convinced, why not
try it out yourself? It costs nothing to sign up (actually, you'll even get a $10 bonus) and it'll make shopping online a little easier. And remember, if you're still figuring out how to improve the performance of your referrals, take a peek at our optimization tips for referrals. You can get started with Checkout referral ads by visiting the AdSense Setup tab in your account. We think your users will thank you for showing them Google Checkout, and your wallet will like having some extra money for you to spend at all of those great Google Checkout stores.

Now accepting applications for new referrals beta

Many of you already use referrals to direct users to your favorite Google products. Now, with our new referrals beta, you can select products and services from our base of AdWords advertisers. This is good news for those of you who have wanted to use referrals in the past, but couldn't find a product to match your site's content. With the referrals beta, you can search for products that match up directly with your site's content. And you can customize your referral units to match the look and feel of your site, making it easier than ever to find a referral ad that fits in seamlessly with your site's design and content. What's more, Google can help make sure you find and display the most relevant, best-performing referral ads on your site. Simply provide a few keywords to describe your site and your users' interests, and you'll see ads automatically displayed that perform best for your site. No more constant updating, rotating products, or guesswork. As with our current Google referrals, you'll generate earnings when your visitors click through to an advertiser's site and complete an action defined by your advertisers, such as a sale or sign-up. Because these actions are often more involved than a simple click or impression, advertisers pay more for these referrals, which can translate into higher earnings for your site. While we plan to open this up to all publishers in the near future, this update is currently only available on a limited basis as part of our beta test. If you are interested in being one of our beta testers, please visit the
referrals beta site and sign up.

AdSense for content automatically crawls the content of your pages and delivers ads (you can choose both text or image ads) that are relevant to your audience and your site content—ads so well-matched, in fact, that your readers will actually find them useful. The Google ads you are able to display on your content pages can be either cost-per-click (CPC) or cost-per-1000-impressions (CPM) ads, while AdSense for search results pages show exclusively CPC ads. This means that advertisers pay either when users click on ads, or when the advertiser's ad is shown on your site. You'll receive a portion of the amount paid for either activity on your website. Although we don't disclose the exact revenue share, our goal is to enable publishers to make as much or more than they could with other advertising networks.
The best way to find out how much you'll earn is to sign up and start showing ads on your web pages. There's no cost, no obligation, and getting started is quick and easy. You can sign up now from the AdSense home page at
https://www.google.com/adsense

Once you're a part of Google AdSense, you can view your earnings at any time by logging in to your account at
https://www.google.com/adsense and clicking the Reports tab. You'll be able to see the total number of page and ad unit impressions, ad clicks, clickthrough rate, effective CPM, and your total earnings so you can get an idea of how well the program is performing for you and how much you can expect to earn over time in the program.

Build your own web site

If you decided to build a website you will need two types of software. An html editor to build your pages and a ftp software to send your web site folders to web server. The most popular html editor softwares are Microsoft FrontPage and Macromedia Dreamweaver. If MS Office pack is installed to your computer you can open it by following this way: Start>Programs>MS Office>MS Frontpage. Easy to use and it contains web site templates so you can built your website in a few hours.
If FP is not installed, you can use Dreamweaver trial version for 30 days. Using Dreamweaver is not as easy as using FP but it has more ability. Another html editor software is NVU which you can use to create websites. This program is completely free. After you get necessary softwares, get ready for construction.
Before you start
Most of people thinks that building a website is so hard. I do not agree with them because they only do not know where to start and when they try to find a way or ask somebody what to do they are given wrong advices such as "You should learn html first."
First of all I want to show you the overall picture and complete route of making and publishing a website.
1) At first step we will prepare and collect content and materials about our website. This is the most important step because you have to decide what kind of site we will build and what it will be about.
2) In next step we will start to create website with html editor softwares.
3) Later we will sign up to a free hosting company and send our website to a free hosting's server.
4) We will sign up to a free domain company in order to shorten our website's url
5) Fifth and the last step will consist of works to take visitors to our website. We will sumbit our website to search engines and try to optimize our website.
Now we should turn back to first step. If you decided what your website will be about, you should prepare content before you start. If you have not decided yet, you should focus on what can you tell or give better than other website owners. Lots of people thinks that if they build a game site or similar sites, they can take more visitors but I do not think that is a good idea. People likes playing games but there are tens of thousands of games sites. The more spesific your website will be, the more visitors visit your website.
I assume we have already done first step. Let's start building
